People with Disabilities

Access solutions for every marketplace.

In 1990, Congress passed the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) to ensure equal opportunity for people with disabilities in employment, state and local government services, public accommodations, commercial facilities, transportation and telecommunications. It made it clear that businesses could no longer deny you goods and services because you have a disability.

In the years since that landmark legislation much progress has been made but often compliance and enforcement have been uneven. Lack of knowledge and understanding about what the law requires is an issue that we have been addressing since we began Inclusion Solutions in 2000.

"The Inclusion Solutions team has developed practical and innovative strategies and products that not only impact consumers, but business. Their products provide the real assistance that people with disabilities need to access buildings, filling stations, restaurants and polling stations, the Inclusion Solutions team has provided cost- effective resources which seamlessly and simply level the field for all consumers."
-Carmen D. Jones, President, Solutions Marketing Group, Wheelchair User, Arlington, Virginia

At Inclusion Solutions, we have worked with businesses, government and the disabled to develop simple, dignified and affordable solutions to address the access issues and meet the "readily achievable" standard the law mandates.

No one knows better than you the challenges that barriers to entry pose every day. Our work often involves compromises, with neither side completely satisfied but progress having been made. We're proud of the products we've developed and the ways they have made facilities more inclusive. And we continue to work on new products that will do even more.

You are part of the solution — you have the power to make change happen. Contact us with your ideas on new products or difficulties you are facing in your community. Talk to your local businesses about our products and services. Send letters to the editor of your local paper identifying access issues or highlighting businesses that have taken steps to correct them. Work with you elected officials on finding solutions. Encourage organizations to continue their efforts to make your community more accessible.
